What we collect

Your Google account basics (name, email, profile photo) to sign you in. The receipts you scan and the items in your pantry. The recipes you save, cook, and report. Your onboarding preferences (goals, dietary needs, cooking time). Push subscription details if you enable expiry alerts.

How we use it

To run the product: build your pantry from receipts, match and generate recipes, estimate expiry dates, chart your nutrition trends, and compute your food-waste impact. Receipt images are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to read the text; recipe data comes from Spoonacular. We don't sell your personal data. When you use voice input on a supported browser, your speech is transcribed by your browser's built-in service (Google on Chrome) and only the resulting text is sent to Kitchen Pro.

Community data

Kitchen Pro gets smarter the more people cook with it. We use aggregated, de-identified food-name data — the patterns of what people buy, never tied to any individual — to improve recipe matches, suggestions, and shopping-list autocomplete for everyone. We never sell your personal data, and what you bought stays yours.

Household sharing

If you join a household, its members can see your pantry items (names, quantities, expiry dates) and mark them as used. Leaving a household ends that sharing immediately; your items remain yours.

Where it lives & your rights

Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, US region) and protected by row-level security — your rows are readable only by you (and your household, where noted). You can delete pantry items, recipes, and your shopping list in-app anytime. For full account deletion, contact us and we'll remove everything.
